After graduating from the University of Melbourne, in 2004 with a Bachelor of Dental Science, Dr David Austin went into practice at several general dental and orthodontic practices in Melbourne, Australia. For some time, he also worked for the Australian Defence Force.

In 2007, he began specialist training in orthodontics at the University of Hong Kong. After three years in Hong Kong, Dr Austin moved to Shanghai, China, where he worked in one of the city’s most well-known clinics, Global Healthcare, treating expatriates from all over the globe.

He was accepted as a Member in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2010 and has since become a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists, the European Orthodontic Society, the Hong Kong Society of Orthodontists and the Australian Dental Association.

While Dr Austin is experienced in all aspects of orthodontic treatment and its many methods, he has a keen interest in Invisalign, with many years of experience and expertise under his belt. With Diamond Invisalign Provider status, Dr Austin has completed over 2100 Invisalign cases, making him one of the most experienced providers of Invisalign in Australia.

Dr David Austin provides treatment for both children and adults. As well as his native language English, he converses in Chinese, Spanish, French, and Italian.
